The EzMedSource Marketplace is live — 11,644 device models, free for hospitals
About EzMedSource

From a spreadsheet in a biomed shop to a global platform.

EzMedSource is founder-led and built in Kansas City — bootstrapped first, grant-funded later, and shaped by twelve years inside the medical-equipment business. No outside playbook. Just problems we lived, then solved.

Founded by equipment people · In production with hospitals since 2018 · Kansas City, MO

Our Manifesto

Cut the Red Tape. Elevate Care.

Medical equipment should work for the people who need it — not get buried in bureaucracy.

Friction slows progress. Hidden information wastes time. Confusion costs lives.

So we remove the barriers. We connect the right people with the right data at the right time. No guesswork, no delays — just clear information and faster decisions.

When hospitals and vendors have the full picture, they act with confidence. Equipment gets where it's needed, when it's needed, and works at its best. That's the whole idea, and it has been since the first spreadsheet.

Our Journey

Twelve years, one straight line

Every product in the family started as a real problem in a real shop.

  • 2014

A biomed shop, buried in paper

Jonathan Gregory joins a biomedical startup and sees the chaos up close: spreadsheets, fax-machine workflows, and information that never reaches the people who need it.

  • 2015–2017

    The first automations

He automates invoicing and inventory in Google Sheets. That prototype became the platform.

  • 2018

    Self-service RMA goes live

Customers request a repair and get an automatic shipping label — no phone tag. It has been in production with hospitals ever since.

  • 2019

    The platform launches on Azure

100% home-developed, replacing the spreadsheets that started it all.

  • 2021

    EzBizPortal is founded

The company incorporates, and ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 compliance features ship.

  • 2022

    Microsoft for Startups

Accepted into the Microsoft for Startups program.

  • 2023

    Pure Pitch Rally win

EzBizPortal wins at Kansas City's Pure Pitch Rally.

  • 2024

    Digital Sandbox KC and TechNation

Selected for Digital Sandbox KC; the CEO is featured in TechNation.

  • 2025

    Grants and fellowships

Pipeline Fellows. A $60K LaunchKC grant. $200K in Google for Startups credits.

  • 2026

    The family comes together

EzBot AI launches in early access and the EzMedSource Marketplace goes live — three products, one platform.

The Family

How the three products fit together

Each one covers a different part of a device's life. Together they cover all of it.

EzBiz Portal ERP

Runs the business.

Work orders, rentals, invoicing, shipping — the ERP that medical-equipment service and refurb shops have run on since 2019.

EzMedSource Marketplace

Connects it to hospitals.

One quote request fans out to every approved vendor, and hospitals compare bids on one screen. Live today and free for hospitals, forever.

EzBot AI Early access

Makes everyone smarter.

An AI assistant built for medical devices. Web chat is live today — 5 free questions a day, no signup.

Mission & Field Notes

The same tools run in field hospitals in Haiti and Guatemala.

At Hopital Lumiere in rural Haiti, a failed C-Arm used to mean 8–9 weeks without imaging — with EzBot, a technician had a diagnosis in about 30 minutes. In Guatemala, patient check-in went from 10 minutes to 30 seconds.

If our tools work in field hospitals near active volcanoes, they'll work in yours.
